Where to buy digital camera in Singapore

Just bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera at Cathay Photo for a very good price of S$685. I have been buying camera from Cathay Photo for more than 20 years.

If you are looking for a camera in Singapore, I strongly recommend you to buy from this store. They have two outlets: one in Pennisula Plaza and the other in Marina Square Shopping Mall.

This is how I would go about when I thought of getting a camera:

Call Kelvin, who works in Cathay Photo Pennisula outlet (Tel: +65-63374274 ), to enquiry on the camera model and price before proceed to the store. Kelvin have been working in Cathay for more than 30 years, he is very friendly and knowledgable to answer any questions you may have regarding all kinds of camera and accessories.

cathay photo salesman
Kelvin has been working in Cathay Photo for more than 30 years.

Bring enough cash to pay for your camera. The price that he quoted you over the phone can be further reduced(about 2-3%) if you pay by cash.

I guarantee you will always have a smiling face when you walk out of the shop. You have no worry about fake or inferior products and you will get whatever freebies which come with the camera without asking.
