5-Day Singapore Tour Itinerary

Singapore Trip Planning Guide for Day 4

Day 4 - Relax with Nature

By now, you should be exhausted from all your Singapore adventures, especially if you stayed out late on Day 3 dancing the night away. With all the touristy, excitement-filled Attractions in Singapore, it's easy to completely miss the beautiful natural attractions the city has to offer.

The Chinese Garden, also known as Jurong Gardens, provides a stunning array of traditional Chinese gardens set against the architectural beauty of a 7-storey Pagoda and a gorgeous arch bridge. In the Gardens of Abundance section, one of the newest gardens, you'll marvel at the 100-year old pomegranate trees nestled among statues representing the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals. Admission to the main garden and Bonsai garden are free. However, ticket prices for entrance to the Garden of Abundance and Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum are $2 for Adults, $1 for Children and $5 for Adult, $3 for Children respectively.

If Chinese Garden does not sound impressive to you, you may choose to visit a much bigger and newer garden located in Marina Bay: Gardens by the Bay.

Spend the rest of your afternoon at nearby Jurong Bird Park, one of the most spectacular bird parks on the planet. Stroll through the Palm Plaza Garden and admire the black swans as they float serenely on their pond, then snap some gorgeous, frame-worthy pictures in the African Waterfall Aviary, the largest walk-in aviary in the world. You'll be delighted by more than 1,500 flying African birds as they glide through the air against the breath-taking waterfall backdrop.

You’ll learn all about the scientific, technological, and mathematical fields while enjoying plenty of hands-on activities.

Both adults and children will enjoy walking through the Ecogarden, where plants are free to grow untamed and insects can enjoy a bountiful feast without being run off. The garden features a Lime Tree Garden and a miniature orchard. After exploring the gardens, climb the spiraling ramp into the tree house, where parents can relax while the children play.

If birds is not your thing, you may want to visit River Safari instead, the latest attraction in Singapore. It's located just next to the Night Safari.
